I was sent an email saying I has won 拢500,000.00 sterling from Yahoo/MSn hotmail from Lady R Mosley?

I imagine its a hoax but foolishly I completed details i.e. my name address mobile age but no bank details but now I am worrying endlessly about it.

You are right to call that message a hoax, but shouldn't have given out your personal information. At least, you never gave out your financial info. Just mark that message as spam and kiss it good bye. The only thing you have to expect is the constant stream of messages bombarding your mobile and your post. Be more careful next time. Never fall for anything like that again.
Reply:Nothing come by chance you have to do some thing to achive it. Alteast you have to buy a lottary ticket. :) Simply ignore it and delete it.
Reply:they will continue to press for banking details , yes its a scam just mark as spam... nobody wins a lottery they haven't entered :)
Reply:Paula ... Yes, in addition to trying harder for info from you, they've also now confirmed that your e-mail address is valid AND active. Therefore, you're likely to appear on more spam lists than before. I'd expect more junk mail of all kinds to be going your way.

P.S.: Unless it's a REPUTABLE company, never click on an "unsubscribe link" in a spam type of e-mail. These commonly appear in spam e-mails and less experienced Internet users who are annoyed by these types of messages may incorrectly believe that clicking on the unsubscribe link will stop these messages from being sent to them. However, it will have precisely the opposite effect. As I said above, it will confirm your e-mail address as being valid and active and you will be bombarded with junk.
Reply:I forward the spam emails to whatever mail I am signed up for(i.e. Yahoo, etc.) It is fun to flood someone else's box for a change. Maybe these sites will get the message and enhance their spam settings?
