If Yahoo gets bought out, what will happen to my Yahoo email? I hate the way Hotmail is set up!!!!?

I'm nervous about this Microsoft takeover of Yahoo since I hate the way Hotmail is set up %26amp; LOVE the way Yahoo mail is. Have over 2 years of my bf's mails saved %26amp; want to keep them. I've sent a mail to Yahoo begging them to make sure our mails are kept the way they are now %26amp; to make that a point of sale if they sell. Would encourage any of you who like this mail to write also. Perhaps if they hear from enough ppl they'll keep our mail intact. I'll go to Google before I'll accept being switched into Hotmail! Thank you.
