I got something similar, but the one I got didn't require information. They said that my account would be deleted if I didn't Forward it within a 24 hours (or maybe even less, I'm not sure). I just ignored it and nothing happened. People still forward it and similar emails to me.

The bottom line is: It's just cr@p : P
Reply:It's a scam. Never give your password to anybody. If anybody asks for your password, report them, there is no reason why anybody would need your password. Disregard that email, you can notify Hotmail if you want, but don't answer the email.
Reply:obviously a scam.

Hotmail already has that information from you.

Don't reply.Inform Hotmail however.
Reply:I have never received something like that. It looks really fishy. Don't answer it, for sure nothing will happen.
Reply:No.

I get them all the time from Yahoo though.

I just delete them.
Reply:Scam
Reply:I don't have an Hotmail acct, but I would definitely Scam it.
