someone gave me their hotmail.com address for MSN purposes. Is it possible to send an email to this, or is there such a thing as a hotmail.com address thats only for MSN? And if its possible, then will it be very obvious to her that she has an unread email? (she is foreign and not too hot with pcs, she seemed to think she couldnt receive email to this address)

Yes - no problem. Just write (name)@hotmail.com.
Use same procedure to any email machine from any one you use.
Reply:she can recieve emails with this email address + it will appear obvious if she signs into msn messenger.
